Our junior boy's volleyball team will be conducting tryouts this Wednesday morning at 730 am in the gym. This is a grade 6 team which will be open to grade 5 boys as well.
This is a competitive team that will be facing other schools. Unlike the intramural leagues in which all players get equal playing time, the structure for grade 6 volleyball is slightly different. For games the team will dress 8 players. I would like to give the opportunity to at least 12 to practice, selecting the top 8 for games. Those top 8 have the potential to be interchanged, but not necessarily. Players outside of the top 8 will have the opportunity to work on their skills for the future. This is the structure for this year's team. Please have a discussion within your family regarding this structure.
