The Clairlea Basketball Association was back for its third season and still going strong. Open to all students in grades 6, 7, and 8, the popularity of the C.B.A. precipitated the creation of 3 divisions: Grade 7/8 Boy's, Grade 6/7/8 Girls and Grade 6 Boys.
Over the last 6 weeks the action has been swift, the shots buzzer-beating and the fans needing only the edge of their seats. Every game was a very tight affair, with all playoff games being separated by 3 points or less. From the fan and player perspectives one could not have asked for more. A big congratulations goes out to all of this year's participants and of course to this year's champions: The Thunder, The Raptors and The Bulls. Here at the Commissioner's office we are very much looking forward to next year!!
