We hope everyone has had a restful weekend. We have 2 intense weeks left before the big day! All practice times for the coming weeks will be the same as the last 2 weeks. Please remember to check the blog by 6:45am in case practices are cancelled due to weather. A lot of snow is expected this week and we will cancel where needed.
On February 11th at Samuel Herne, we will play our tournament. Only 10 of you will travel, with your coaches, to this location. You will need snacks, water and a packed lunch. Our day could possibly wrap up after 4pm so be sure to bring plenty to eat and drink.
We have selected the top 10 players who will be travelling to the tournament and will announce this to the team, Monday at practice. Some changes to our practice formats are taking place in that on Wednesdays and Thursdays we are calling in some members of our Gr.5/6 boys team, whose season wrapped up in November, to practice with us. The focus during this time will be on the top 10. Our remaining 7 are strongly encouraged to come to all practices as they will continue to serve as valuable learning opportunities.
If you are unable to attend practice for any reason, please let your coaches know prior to practices.
