The Panthers rocked the race course at the TDSB City Finals today! The competition was fierce and the course was brutal, with rough terrain and steep hills. Our 11 Panthers showed tremendous grit by running hard and ahieving their personal best. A special mention to runners who came in the top 20 (WOW!!!). Thank you team for your hardwork and representing our school at THE CITIES, you make us proud.
A HUGE thank you to the dedicated parents who supported our x-country team. If you're a parent who drove your chid early to practice, you volunteered to drive students to meets, or you came out to help with practices, we couldn't do this without your involvment. You make our school acommunity.
A special mention to a few parents....Lily and Henry's dad, Jessie Wallace who ran with the kids at EVERY practice. Elias and Kali's mom who stood on the corner of Vic. Park all those early mornings keeping our kids safe. Samantha and Chloes's mom ran with the younger students and kept them moving. Kaitlin and Cara's parents drove the Grade 4 girls team to and fro their meets and helped with the tent. Thanks to everyone involved.
