This year's CFHL tournament is fast approaching. Today we held an informational meeting regarding the league setup, the number of team members allowed, game times and student dismissal procedures. The following points are highlights from our meeting:
- the first game starts at 330, playing 2 ten minute periods, the second game starts around 350 and finished by 420ish.
- students who take a school bus must make their own way home. All students must be picked up or be on their way home by 430
- there are 2 age distinctions, junior (grades 4-6) and intermediate (grades 7 and 8)
- teams and team names must be submitted to Mr. Church for approval
- all teams must have at least one female player on the floor at all times
- we play a 3-on-3 format so 7 players per team is ideal. More than 7 players must be approved by Mr. Church
- team submission applications will be made available later this week
